Full-cycle development from product conception to a custom ERP for a natural pet food company
Involved in the project since its inception, I played a key role in the product development stage, contributing my full experience to the process. I was responsible for developing the website as well as the administrative and management software, covering most of the company's operations. Naturally, I chose Django because it provides a robust, flexible, and secure environment that ensures agile, scalable, and high-quality development.
Through extensive preliminary research, we introduced an innovative product to the pet market. Competitors are established brands focused on convenience and price, but their ultra-processed products lack health benefits. We identified a key weakness in these brands: a lack of closeness and engagement with their customers.
We focused product development on high quality and ease of preparation while offering personalized service. Combined with a customer-centric strategy, we established the brand as a benchmark for quality and accessibility, earning recommendations from veterinarians and building a loyal customer base.
Design, development, and content creation. The focus was on highlighting how premium nutrition contributes to pet health and happiness, while ensuring the product remains extremely easy to serve for the owners.
With a strong focus on SEO, we developed a content strategy for the blog covering high-demand topics: healthy nutrition, the risks of dry food, and profiles of popular pet breeds in Mexico.
The octagonal shape represents the pet food patties, integrated with the classic paw print. Multiple color versions were developed for versatility across different platforms and backgrounds.
A comprehensive ERP linking the entire operation: supplier management, raw materials, inventory, packaging, and costs. The commercial module handles customers, orders, delivery schedules, and invoicing.
The software manages multiple SQL databases. Expenses, suppliers, products, customers, pets, and orders are handled as relational databases to ensure data integrity across the enterprise.
BI reports designed to optimize operations: sales variances (MoM), sales evolution (yearly, monthly, weekly), customer rankings, and delivery schedules.
I managed the design and editing of all art and photography, including packaging, labels, promotional assets, and social media content, ensuring a professional and consistent brand aesthetic.
